Every year the New College Review staff picks a theme in September for the upcoming issue of the magazine. Whether submitting fiction, nonfiction, artwork, or photography, potential contributors to the magazine should observe the theme when creating their pieces. This year’s theme is MINDGARDEN: Considering the Mental Condition. Authors/Artists are encouraged to interpret the theme broadly and creatively.
